Bourns MF-NSML PPTC Resettable Fuses

MF-NSML series PPTC resettable fuses

Bourns MF-NSML Series PPTC Resettable Fuses offer a maximum operating current of 1.5A to 5.0A, post trip resistance values as low as 12mΩ, and initial resistance values as low as 1mΩ. These low resistance values help boost the current carrying capability of the MF-NSML series. The MF-NSML fuses allow Bourns to offer a 5A Ihold model in a 1206 package.

These compact NSML models use Bourns' freeXpansion™ design that increases the performance of the resettable fuse with higher hold currents, higher voltage, improved resistance stability, and smaller footprints.

The primary applications for these products include PC motherboard port protection, USB memory modules, gaming consoles and battery protection for smart phones. These devices have been designed to protect against both overcurrent and overtemperature events within these applications.
