The HR41A series is a small, light plastic power connector that is highly water resistant and offers advanced reliability in harsh outdoors environments. Featuring an IP67 and IP68 waterproof performance when mated; the unique waterproof gasket and O-ring design prevents water intrusion, even while submerged at 2 M for 14 days. The connector is designed with advanced lightning surge protection (15 kV) due to the walls between adjacent contact providing insulation against surges caused by lighting.
It is optimized for easy field assembly with a push-on bayonet mating that ensures a secure connection via a locking mechanism that provides a click to signal complete mating. The bayonet mating design decreases the number of assemblies steps and stabilizes the operation quality, eliminating the screw tightening process, torque management and additional re-torque. In addition, the HR41A features a user-friendly cable and housing assembly; this simple crimp connection and easy assembly design are ideal for on-site assembly.
