Bourns TBU-RSxxx-300-WH series high speed protectors

Bourns has introduced TBU-RSxxx-300-WH series high speed protectors

Bourns TBU-RS085-300-WH Series

Bourns’ TBU-RSxxx-300-WH series high speed protectors are designed for surge protection in indoor and outdoor security camera systems using any kind of gateway (IP CAM and NVR...etc) with RS-485 or high speed signal functionality.

The TBU-RSxxx-300-WH series is an integrated dual channel Transient Blocking Unit (TBU) overcurrent device and integrated TVS diode overvoltage protector for the signal interfaces, such as RS-485. When coupled with an external overvoltage protector like the Bourns GDT (2030-42T-SM-RPLF) or TISP thyristor surge protector (TISP4350J3BJR-S), this integrated solution can cover all compliance to IEC 61000-4-2 (ESD), IEC 61000-4-4 (EFT) and IEC 61000-4-5 (surge) standards. The TBU-RSxxx300-WH not only reduces component count on your board, but provides an additional 52% of space saving compared to a discrete solution.
