KEMET KONNEKT™ U2J Series

KEMET KONNEKT™ U2J surface mount multilayer ceramic capacitors

KEMET is pleased to announce the introduction of KONNEKT™ U2J to its Surface Mount Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (SMD MLCC) portfolio

KEMET has introduced KONNEKT™ U2J to its Surface Mount Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (SMD MLCC) portfolio.

These capacitors are featured in Google’s open source STC-Switched Tank DC-DC converter design, where conversion efficiency is critical for cost efficient 48V power architecture.

KEMET's KONNEKT™ U2J capacitors are designed for high-efficiency and high-density power applications. KONNEKT™ utilises innovative Transient Liquid Phase Sintering (TLPS) to create a leadless multi-chip solution.
When combined with KEMET’s ultra-stable U2J dielectric, KONNEKT™ enables a low-loss, low-inductance package capable of handling extremely high ripple currents in the hundreds of kilohertz.

KONNEKT™ U2J capacitors can also be mounted in a low-loss orientation to further increase its power handling capability. The low-loss orientation improves thermal performance by lowering the thermal resistance and further reduces the ESR from the standard orientation:

KONNEKT™ U2J ceramic capacitors are commercial grade, Lead-Free (Pb-Free), RoHS and REACH compliant without exception.
