Murata | Accelerate matter product development using tri-radio solution

On-Demand

Summary

If you are looking to deliver IoT and smart home solutions then Matter is a protocol you will want to support. It is actually a royalty-free solution that links the various IoT protocols like Thread together so different networks can be tied together. It allows a switch on based on one protocol to control a light in a different network using a different protocol. Matter uses Bluetooth for commissioning a new device. Typically wireless IoT devices utilize a different wireless protocol like Wi-Fi or a low power wireless protocol like 802.15.4. Having a radio that handles multiple protocols in a wireless IoT environment can be an advantage.

This webinar delves into Matter including where and how it can be used. It also takes a look at the NXP IW612 tri-radio SoC and the Murata 2EL M.2 module.

  • Matter 101
    • Why Matter
    • Use cases
    • State of Matter specification
  • 2EL tri-radio architecture
  • Benefits of NXP platform
    • Matter stack integrated into NXP BSP
    • IW612 + i.MX
