Versal VE2302

The VE2302 family from Avnet is the first AMD Versal™ AI Edge product added to Avnet’s popular line of System-On-Modules (SOM) based on the Adaptive SoC family of AMD products. The VE2302-SOM is designed around a production-ready 50mmx50mm form factor with three HD connectors for mounting to a custom carrier card or the Avnet developed I/O Carrier Card. Which is bundled in the VE2302-DK.
The VE2302 Development Kit enables the design of applications such as multimedia, automotive ADAS, AI/ML, surveillance and much more with the compute power of the VE2302-SOM. Using the VE2302-DK allows designers to kick-start application development or evaluate the capabilities of the AMD Versal AI Edge Adaptive SoC with a versatile peripheral set.
With a well featured Versal AI Edge sub-system, the VE2302-SOM enables designers to build high-performance systems with confidence and ease. By connecting the off-the-shelf VE2302-SOM on to an application specific carrier card, system bring-up and debug time can be cut in half, while overall system cost can be reduced verses a standard chip-down design.

Designing for AMD Versal Adaptive SoCs
This webinar will show an example design developed using model-based design with the AMD Vitis™ Model Composer and Simulink. The design can then be deployed on a Versal AI Edge platform such as VE2302 SOM developed by Avnet.
