Transmission & Switching

A transmission and switching IC mainly finds applications in a telecommunication network. Transmission provides the transport of a signal from an end-user source to the destination such that the signal quality at the destination meets certain performance criteria and switching selects the route to the desired destination. The transmitted signal travels by the closing of switches either in the space domain, the time domain, or some combination of the two.
