Single Board Computers

As the name suggests, a single board computer (SBC) is a complete computer with computer processor, chipset, memory, and peripherals integrated into a highly compact single board. SBCs are typically used for low power computing applications where high profile processors or memory size doesn�t impact the results much. SBCs don�t require any separate expansion boards for functioning. Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone SBC, and Microzed SBC are few examples.
