Enclosures, Racks & Cabinets

Enclosures, Racks & Cabinets are used to house electronic and electrical system equipment. They are normally used to hold multiple sub assembles, shield components from dust and debris or to prevent electric shock from users. In most cases the enclosure or the cabinet is the only part of the system which is seen by users. Regulations may dictate the type of enclosure or cabinet based on electrical equipment being used in hazardous areas, or where they are exposed to the elements in an outside environment.
