Proximity & Touch Sensors

Proximity sensors aresensorsable to detect the nearness of adjacent particles with no physical contact. Proximity sensors often discharge an electromagnetic field or a light emission radiation (infrared, for example), and search for changes in the field or return signal. The object being detected is often referred to as the proximity sensor's target. Touch sensors are a kind of hardware that capture and record physicaltouchor grasp on a device and/or object, and are used in touch screens.
