GPS Receivers

A GPS receiver is a processor capable of solving navigation equations in order to determine the user position. The GPS receivers contain processor circuits which process the signal received from the GPS satellites, and then determine the geographical position of the user or the GPS capable devices. A GPS receiver takes in data from a constellation of 24 satellites that orbit the earth, and these satellites are arranged so that at least four are always visible in the sky from anywhere on earth.
