PSoC 64 Secured Microcontroller

The PSoC 64 Secured MCU is an ideal compute solution balancing power and performance. It incorporates all of the key features of the PSoC 6 with preconfigured security and connectivity software to support secure onboarding, secure boot, secure firmware updates and secure runtime services based on Trusted Firmware-M (TF-M). Develop your user application on the Arm® Cortex® -M4 processor in PSoC 64. FreeRTOS in ModusToolbox supports Platform Security Architecture APIs enabling your application to access services within the secure processing environment.

PSoC 64 Secured MCUs ship with a pre-established secure processing environment (SPE) and an isolated root-of-trust all running in the Arm® Cortex®-M0+. This dedicated security co-processor utilizes open-source Trusted Firmware-M (TF-M) and interacts with the non-secure processing environment (NPSE) through a hardware-based Inter Processor Communication (IPC) interface.

The root-of-trust is isolated from the SPE and provides an immutable identity for the device, securely stores keys, and supports secured services such as secure boot, secure provisioning, and attestation. The security co-processor in the PSoC 64 makes it easy for you to implement security in your application.
