Modular Power
MEAN WELL Modular power supplies are switching power supplies following a modular design, consisting front-end PFC units and output modules, delivering a wide variety of output voltages. The line inputs are rectified into a high DC voltage by the front-end PFC stage, after which the DC output modules transfer it to all kinds of DC output voltages, from 1.6V ~53V. RKP-1U rack system is a power distribution solution utilizing the rack configuration with 1U low profile. Starting with a single unit of 2000W, RCP-2000 is the front-end rectifier (or, power supply). With the active current sharing function, up to 6000W is able to be provided by 1 stack of the 19” rack mountable shelf RKP-1U and 18000W by 3 stacks. The design flexibility for system applications is ideally fulfilled by various built-in features, such as output programming, communication protocol PMBus, remote ON-OFF, auxiliary power, external control/monitor via the control model RCP-CMU-1.

DHP rack power systems and charger systems are the complete solution for the power distribution utilizing the rack configuration with the 1U low profile. CMU2 not only being used to monitor the operating parameters and data of PSUs, such as output voltage, output current, internal temperature, fan rpm, series number and firmware version, but also can be used to adjust output voltage and current. In addition, it can remotely control single PSU or entire power system through LAN or internet.

Cabinet Power
MEAN WELL has numerous cabinet-type system power supplies ranging from supporting 10 kilowatt of power all the way through +500K kilowatts. Powering these cabinets can demonstrate AC-DC power management applications and DC-AC energy recycling applications. CP-3200 is a 3.2KW dual-purpose (Switching Power Supply & Charger) rack-mounted AC/DC power supply with 1U low profile design and high-power density up to 37W/inch3 . This series operates at 90~264VAC input voltage and offers the models with the DC output mostly demanded by the industry. Each model is cooled by the built-in DC fan with fan speed control and working for the temperature up to 70℃. NCP-3200 provides vast design flexibility by equipping with PMBus and CANbus, two international communication protocols which can be selected for industrial control and power supply control, and can also be used directly with intelligent controller CMU2. Active current sharing up to 10 rack shelves (DHP-1UT-B) and the maximum power supply that can be connected in parallel is 40 units, remote ON/OFF control, auxiliary power, alarm signal, and others.
