Murata LoRa®-based modules under Type 1SJ includes a second-generation Semtech SX1262 transceiver IC and open STM32L0 microcontroller (MCU) from STMicroelectronics, at just 10.0 mm x 8.0 mm x 1.6 mm, is one of the smallest modules available in the market. Suitable for a wide range of high-volume applications where small size, long range, extended battery life, security and a competitive price point are requirements. Designed for deployment globally, the module supports ISM bands from 868 MHz to 916 MHz, including those used in Europe, USA, India, China and the Pacific Rim.
Choose appropriate Type 1SJ to meet the requirements. Under Type 1SJ are modules with preloaded LoRaWAN based modem firmware allowing host MCU to communicate with the module using AT-commands from Murata and a module with open MCU allowing designers to include application and LoRaWAN layer to be included in the MCU within the module.
An evaluation kit is available from Murata, LBAA0QB1SJ-TEMP-EVK, allowing software development, demonstration, or testing type 1SJ performance. A software development kit (SDK) supporting type 1SJ is available from ST Microelectronics.

Murata delivers ultra-wideband (UWB) technology wireless modules in a small form factor enabling secure ranging and precise sensing. The module incorporates NXP or Qorvo transceiver IC.
