An image sensor is an array of photodiodes (pixels) sensitive to visible (and sometimes non-visible) light. A sensor’s ability to capture light is dependent on many variables including its resolution, shutter type, pixel size, color filter array and dynamic range. There are many types of image sensors so it is important that customers choose a solution based on their application’s needs.

AGB1N0CS-GEVK - onsemi Sensor Evaluation Platform
The Demo3 baseboard sends sensor image data to the host computer through a high-bandwidth USB 3.0 interface as well as to an external HDMI monitor (if using supported co-processor). It takes single/dual/quad MIPI interface, dual/quad lanes HiSPi interface, CCP, and parallel interface from the sensor headboard, which eliminates the need for additional receiver boards.
- DEMO3 FPGA Baseboard has USB 3.0 interface to connect to PC, 52-pin female connector to support MIPI, parallel, and HiSPI sensor boards
- Sensor boards have external jumpers for fast development, testing, and debugging
- Sensor boards come with high quality lens fit for sensor
- Free sensor evaluation software, DevWareX, makes development and testing simple
- Existing firmware and technical support help you configure your sensor for your application
AES-FMC-MULTICAM4-G - Avnet Multi-Camera FMC Module
The Avnet Multi-Camera FMC module supports up to four (4) high definition camera modules using MAXIM Integrated’ s GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) technology.GMSL is widely used in the automotive industry for in-vehicle high speed communication of video streams. Making use of low-cost coax cable up to 15 meters in length, GMSL meets the most stringent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements of the automotive industry. The provided linux-based reference designs support the onsemi MARS (Modular Automotive Reference System) based camera modules, including the MAXIM Integrated MAX96705 GMSL Serializer board and the onsemi AR0231AT image sensor board.
- Low Pin Count (LPC) FMC Module
