STM32WBA5 MCUs are next-generation 32-bit wireless microcontrollers from STMicroelectronics for Bluetooth® SIG Low Energy 5.3 and IEEE 802.15.4 mesh network protocol communication. They are ultra-low-power (ULP) MCUs for extended battery life and SESIP level-3 certification ready with proven security features.

STM32WBA52xx
Based on the Arm® Cortex®-M33 core running at 100 MHz with TrustZone® technology, the STM32WBA52 series includes an embedded 2.4GHz radio that enables high data rate (2 Mbps) and +10 dBM output power for greater BLE 5.3 communication range. Furthermore, these are “ultra-low-power” wireless MCUs that deliver impressive power efficiency (45µA/MHz Active consumption and 303 ULPMark™ benchmark score) to maximize battery life. They include 1MB of flash and 128KB of RAM memory and extensive security features that protect data and prevent hacks or device cloning. STM32 Nucleo-64 development board with STM32WBA52CG MCU
NUCLEO-WBA52CG is a Bluetooth Low Energy wireless prototyping board that embeds an ultra-low-power radio compliant with the Bluetooth LE SIG specification v5.3. The ARDUINO® Uno V3 connectivity support and ST morpho headers allow the easy functional expansion of the STM32 Nucleo open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields.
STM32WB1MMC BLUETOOTH Low Energy Module
This is the latest pre-certified 2.4GHz STM32 module from STMicroelectronics. It supports BLE 5.3 communication based on the dual-core STM32WB15CCY wireless microcontroller, which offers excellent receiver sensitivity, high output power, and power efficiency for applications that are powered by coin cells and energy harvesting.
This STM32WB1MMC module is tiny (6.5x10x1.4 mm2) and requires no RF design expertise or external components. It is entirely protocol stack royalty-free and enables simple 2-layer PCB designs. It’s the best way to speed up BLE 5.3 application development and reduce the associated costs. Extended industrial operation from –40°C to +105°C ambient temperature is supported.
