Transparently brilliant: the new Simple Plus Open Frame

Transparency is a strength in so many ways. It means clarity. It means simplicity. It means openness. These are qualities we at Avnet value, both in our products and the way we work with our customers. And our new transparent OLED monitor, ‘Simple Plus Open Frame’, is so incredibly crystal clear, we can hardly take our eyes off it.

Ideally, we’d barely have to. There are so many applications for this display that we we’re sure they’ll be everywhere before long. The most obvious location is in retail, where they can adapt to any aesthetic or location, thanks to its no-bezel metal housing and flexible mounting options. But Open Frame could just as easily be used in corporate meeting rooms, healthcare settings and even museums and galleries, creating valuable interactive visual tools which are serious, productive, engaging, educational and, dare we say it, fun.

The design is deliberate and slick, keeping the integration process as simple as possible. What you receive is an all-in-one solution which includes a pre-assembled unit, power supply, touch controller and components for easy-set-up.

But we know that sometimes our customers require something a little more tailored, so Open Frame has been designed to allow for that too – right down to finding the optimal balance of power consumption and performance for your application.

But don’t think for a second that because it’s transparent, it’s fragile. The Simple Plus Open Frame is tougher than it looks, protecting against heat, moisture and shock, as well as scratches and even fingerprints. But your users wear gloves? No problem. It can support that too.

This comprehensive tech spec gives you all the data on this exciting new addition to our portfolio. But we are always happy to discuss your needs and answer your questions.
