The MT6826S is a high-precision angle encoder based on AMR technology, supporting incremental ABZ and UVW outputs. It provides SPI and PWM interfaces with 15-bit absolute angle readings. Its self-calibration mode significantly improves the Integral Non-Linearity (INL) characteristics, ensuring high-precision output.

The MT6826S is a high-speed, high-precision angle encoder chip based on advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology. It integrates four AMR Wheatstone bridge sensing elements, arranged at 45° angles, along with high-performance dedicated signal processing circuits.

The MT6826S provides an incremental ABZ output interface as a replacement for traditional optical encoders, with a maximum resolution of 4,096 pulses per revolution or 16,384 steps per revolution. Additionally, the MT6826S supports incremental UVW output, with resolutions ranging from 1 to 16 pole pairs per revolution.

The chip also offers a 4-wire SPI interface for reading a 15-bit absolute angle value from the internal registers, accessible by a host computer or MCU. A single-wire PWM output is also available, providing absolute angle data with 12-bit resolution.

A key performance enhancement of the MT6826S is its convenient self-calibration mode, which compensates for non-linearities caused by imperfect magnets and structural installation deviations. This significantly improves the Integral Non-Linearity (INL) characteristics, ensuring higher precision and accuracy in angle measurement.
