The i.MX 6ULL Solution is an automated medical device that monitors the vital signs of patients. At its heart is the i.MX 6ULL, a high performance, ultra efficient processor family featuring NXP’s advanced implementation of the single Arm Cortex®-A7 core, which operates at speeds of up to 900 MHz.
The i.MX 6ULL applications processor includes an integrated power management module that reduces the complexity of an external power supply and simplifies power sequencing.
Each processor in this family provides various memory interfaces, including 16-bit LPDDR2, DDR3, DDR3L, raw and managed NAND flash, NOR flash, eMMC, Quad SPI and a wide range of other interfaces for connecting peripherals such as WLAN, Bluetooth®, GPS, displays and camera sensors.
This application senses the vital signs of a patient and displays them. If any of the vital signs drops below a secure range, the device will send an alert to the medical staff. i.MX 6ULL is fit for purpose because of its low power consumption, touch screen driver integration, and its low cost.
