Today, many portable devices are powered by the smallest components. The Power Management IC (PMIC) plays an important role in controlling power management within a device. The PCA9450 supports a variety of applications across smart homes, smart cities, edge computing, industrial and industrial IoT.

The PCA9450 is a single chip PMIC specifically designed to support i.MX 8M family processors in both 1 cell Li-Ion and Li-polymer battery portable application and 5V adapter nonportable applications. It also does not require hardware changes to support various memory types (DDR4, LPDDR4, DDR3L, etc.) via system UBOOT configurations. A PCA9450 PMIC contains everything you need in a small package measuring only 7mm x 7mm ensures good performance across all its applications.
