The Avnet AVT9152 Module combines BLE, LTE and GPS technologies into a single module for IoT applications where low power and small size matters. This module is market-ready and is certified to conform with FCC, CE, RCM and BQB compliance requirements. The module’s nRF52840 Bluetooth 5.2/Bluetooth LE advanced multiprotocol SoC features a 64MHz, 32-bit Arm® Cortex® M4 processor with floating point unit (FPU) which ensures it can offer ample computational power to support a range of complex and processor-intensive IoT applications. The high degree of flexibility and scalability this module offers makes it ideal for target applications in tracking devices for people, pets and assets, vending machines, point-of-sale, smart buildings, industrial IoT and contact tracing devices.
To simplify IoT application development, Avnet has also developed the AVT9152 Evaluation Kit. This evaluation kit provides an end-to-end cloud connection platform via Avnet’s enterprise-ready IoTConnect® Platform. This kit features a 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope as well as pressure, temperature, relative humidity, ambient light and motion (PIR) sensors. It also allows for shortened time-to-market for end-product development as well as flexibility to be paired with commonly used sensors in IoT applications.
