Renesas introduces the Personal Safety Tracker, a next-generation solution for wearables and healthcare applications, driven by its cutting-edge Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. Designed for high-performance, low-power operation, this tracker integrates advanced features including real-time GPS tracking, SOS emergency alerts and environmental monitoring to provide critical safety information.

The tracker combines Renesas' ISL91133 boost regulator and RAA214023 ultra-low-noise LDO for efficient and stable power. The ISL91133 provides up to 96% efficiency with a low standby current of 108µA, extending battery life. The RAA214023 ensures stable, noise-free performance with ultra-low 6.5µVRMS noise.

The ISL91133 provides a 2.3A output from as low as 2.5V, offering an extremely low standby current and extending the device's operational life in battery-powered applications. With its efficient boost mode and low dropout characteristics, it ensures reliable, long-lasting performance, even in low-voltage conditions.

Additionally, The ZMOD4410 gas sensor monitors TVOCs and CO2 levels for environmental safety, with AI-driven algorithms providing accurate IAQ and CO2 measurements. Its robust design handles humidity, dust, and water exposure for reliable operation in various conditions.

Furthermore, the ISL9301 charger manages power with high-voltage inputs up to 28V, ensuring the tracker stays powered even when the battery is low. Power path management optimizes charge currents, minimizes battery charge cycles and extends battery lifespan for continuous operation.
