The are multiple libraries setup to support content management.  As a content creator you will only have edit access to the libraries for the regions you support however you can read content from all libraries.  The libraries are broken in different groups to identify the type of library.  The library groups are:

DX Internal Management:

Portal Site
ML Management
Script Application Library

Development:

Global Design Library
Global Asset Library

Site Content Libraries:

Avnet Content Library
Asia Content Library
Asia Content Library - zh

Within the library you will have access to your specific region/speedboat and the other libraries listed below. This example shows the view of an Americas user:

Library Navigation Tips

To make navigating to your content easier/faster whether you have been working in the library or are pulling content from the library onto your page, you have three options under Personal Views that you can access.

When you click on Recent Items, it will list all of the content you recently worked on. Favorite Items and Favorite Locations will display content you tag as a favorite. See the steps on the next pages on how to make content a favorite item/location.

Tagging content as a favorite
There are two ways to tag a piece of content as a favorite:

  1. Select the piece of content. Then click the drop down arrow next to More and select Add to My Favorites. To remove it from your favorites follow the same steps and select Remove from My Favorites.

  2. When you have a piece of content open in edit mode, click the star next to the title to add it to your favorites. The star will turn yellow to indicate it has been added. To remove from your favorites click the star again and it will turn white.

Instead of having to keep clicking down through the library to reach a section you have been working on, you can create a favorite location. In this example, the Communications page is made a favorite location. Once in the location you want, click the star next to the Library Explorer title.

After the star is selected, the pop-up box below will render. Type in the name you want to call this location and click Ok
