Page Templates

HCL DX provides the ability to create Page Templates to speed up the creation of content pages.  This is helpful if there is a type of page that is required multiple times.  When the content creator creates a new page, the option to select a page template is offered.  The option looks as follows:

OnesitePage Template: Creates a page that will be visible in the navigation at levels three and four. Levels one and two are already configured.
OnesiteHidden Page Template: Creates a page that will not be visible in the navigation. This options maintains page organization in the tree but allows for pages to not be visible in the navigation.
Label: A page placeholder that does not have any content associated to it.
Abacus Hidden Product Page Template: This is a template that has been set up specifically for Abacus and should not be used by any other speedboat/region.
Please note: You can have a template such as the Abacus template set up if you are going to use a specific page layout over and over again. The template will have all of the components on the page -no more drag and drop. The user can just go to the page and add content.
Avnet Boards Family Leaf and Family Templates: Avnet Boards is a micro-site in the Avnet site.  There are specific requirements for these pages as it include Commerce components.  These pages are tobe used only in Avnet Boards.
Block Diagrams Templates: Showing static block diagrams as part of the marketing pages.  The block diagrams showed on these pages pull the static diagrams from the Avnet Avail program.
Category Template:
Component Documentation: This template is specific to the Documentation Site only.
Full Width Mixed and Full Width Mixed - Hidden: These are templates that already have to Full Width page layout assigned so that content creators do not have to change it after the fact.  These pages can be used anywhere at any time.
Integrated Page Template:  The Avnet Integrated site has unique requirements.  The page template is to be used only on the Avnet Integrated Site.
