• DRAM – Dynamic Random Access Memory is a type of volatile memory commonly used in embedded systems.  
• SRAM – Static Random Access Memory is a low-power volatile memory used in embedded systems. It is ideal for high-speed access and low-power applications.  
• NAND Flash – a block-based, high-density, non-volatile memory that is perfect for mass storage in embedded systems, SSDs or flash drives.  
• NOR Flash – a non-volatile alternative with lower density. Its advantages are the high access speed and random access to data.

RF Wireless and Connectivity: In the field of wireless data transmission, the product portfolio encompasses a full range of high-frequency, single-chip and module solutions. This includes radar modules for applications such as distance measurement and level detection. Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) offers the latest and most precise option for distance measurement in access control applications. For cellular applications, the portfolio features 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G cellular modems. For local area network connectivity, the range includes Bluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy SoCs, complete with corresponding antenna solutions, as well as Wi-Fi-enabled MCUs/SoCs, antennas, and modules. Matter is emerging as the future standard for wireless home automation, enabling interoperability between different wireless technologies. The portfolio also includes a comprehensive range of HF RFID/NFC products that cover all requirements for NFC-based applications - from access control and contactless payment to use as dual-interface memory. Hardware authentication forms the foundation for trustworthy data communication and is also ideal for protecting hardware against unauthorised cloning. The latest security companion chips enable high-end security functions such as RSA-, ECC-, AES-, and SHA-based cryptography, combined with highly secure key storage and management. For the automotive sector, the portfolio includes authenticators and security chips with automotive qualifications, including CCC-compliant access control. Finally, Secure Elements from our portfolio provide a robust and reliable basis for a more secure device design, as required by the EU's Cyber Resilience Act, for example.

Optoelectronics: Optoelectronics is a rapidly advancing field focused on the application of electronic devices for generating, detecting, and controlling light. The most common optoelectronic components include LEDs, photodiodes, and laser diodes. EBV's portfolio offers a wide range of optical receivers, including IR and other photodetectors, spectrometers, and pyroelectric detectors, as well as optical transceiver modules such as IR transceivers, laser diodes, photointerrupters, and time-of-flight (ToF) sensors. The optical transmitter lineup features IR transmitters and photocouplers, including diode and logic output photocouplers, MOSFET and IGBT optocouplers, among others.
