Renesas RA6M4 MCU Group

The RA6M4 MCU Group is an expansion of the Renesas RA Family. It offers leading performance 200 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with TrustZone, 1 MB code flash memory, 256 KB SRAM, Background Operation (BGO) and SWAP function, Capacitive Touch Sensing Unit, Ethernet, USB 2.0 Full-Speed, SDHI, Quad SPI and OctaMemory, security and safety features, and advanced Analog with two ADC units.

The RA6M4 is built on a highly efficient 40nm process and is supported by an open and flexible ecosystem concept, called Flexible Software Package (FSP), using FreeRTOS as base, but it can be replaced and expanded by any other RTOS or middleware user’s need. RA6M4 is suitable for IoT application requiring strong Security, rich connectivity, large embedded RAM with parity/ECC and low power consumption.
