Panasonic PAN-MaX

PAN-MaX is a service aimed at simplifying production of Matter devices.  Smart-home device vendors can access all the necessary security infrastructure needed for Matter deployments under one roof, thereby enabling a hassle-free production. Through this service, Panasonic delivers project-specific versions of wireless modules manfactured in a facility entirely owned and managed by Panasonic, thus implementing bespoke, ready to use, components with fully implemented digital trust chain.

PAN MaX closes the loop for Matter designs based on Panasonic's Wireless Modules. The service is organized into following tiers:

PAN-MaX Silver

• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) with Panasonic as PAI
• Signed X.509 Certificates for use as Matter DAC on Panasonic Modules

PAN-MaX Gold

• Silver +
• Customized Part number with Factory Software Programming Service for business logic (device/application firmware) and Certification Declaration: production ready device

PAN-MaX Diamond (in progress)

• Gold +
• Panasonic driven Easy Access at a CSA Approved - Matter Testing Provider
