Ultra-low power 32-bit ARM Cortex®-M23 MCU with enhanced peripherals

The RA2L1 MCU Group is part of the RA2 MCU Series, and is currently the smallest member of the RA Family. It is a combination of microcontroller with standard communication and timing peripherals, general-purpose analog and new innovative capacitive touch sensing unit (CTSU2) with best-in-class performance. RA2L1 offers ultra-low power consumption ranked among the best in the industry using the company's well known low-power 110nm process. Moreover, RA2L1 products will be fully upward compatible with other members of RA Family to support customers with additional needs for their other application designs. Typical microcontroller applications spend a majority of their product life in a low-power standby mode waiting for an internal or external event to wake-up the CPU to process data, make decisions and communicate with other system components. In many battery-powered applications, standby power consumes the largest amount of energy and battery life. RA2L1 has been designed from the ground-up to optimize for lowest-standby power employing an advanced power and clock gating feature.
