Installing efficient, accurate and secure Electric Vehicle charging stations

Vehicle electrification is on the brink of mass market adoption, and this shift towards eMobility comes with the need for an energy system that can effectively replace the fleets of fossil-fuel service stations that drivers currently rely on.

Faced with the increasing urgency to include EV charging in conventional service areas, some market leaders already have their strategy in place, converting conventional areas to electric-only, and building new charging areas. NXP helps provide scalable and safe solutions that reduce overall cost, extend the range and accelerate EV system development.

An Electric Vehicle (EV) charging system supplies power for recharging electric vehicles. Typical EV chargers are made up of at least one smart controller board and one power socket board. The smart controller manages security, services and connectivity to a remote server and the power socket board measures energy.

NXP solutions meet the stringent requirements EV charging systems, with accurate power measurement, device management and data security. Our rich enablement supports faster time to market with less complexity and reduced cost, and our SafeAssure program helps with the safety deliverables for your project.
