Heraclesuino 224G Development Kit
Heraclesuino 224G is a full development kit allowing the design of a connected application in few steps. It includes all the necessary features of most of the mobile and non-mobile IoT applications. It can be operated from a Lithium-Ion battery, a DC power supply or a USB source. The application runs from a low power STM32 microcontroller. It incorporates a variety of usual sensors needed for a wide range of applications such as temperature, hydrometer, accelerometers, gyroscopes, ambient light, pressure and magnetometers sensors. The reference application executes most of the common features used by customers such as the low power management including voltage scaling, the sensor management, the module management, the MQTT/MQTTS protocol up to the transfer to a cloud platform. It is delivered as a source code allowing customers to find the best fit for their application. The Heraclesuino 224G is also compatible with Arduino shields in order to easily add further features.

Heracles 224G
EBV’s new chip Heracles 224G is the first telecommunication module that combines 4G low power technology and prepaid connectivity. The device is the second generation of EBV’s all in one solution concept and will allow customers to smoothly migrate from the 2G M2M world to the LPWA LTE world. It is designed for applications that need low latency, medium throughput data communication in a variety of radio propagation conditions. Due to the unique combination of performance, security and flexibility, this module is ideally suited for M2M applications, such as metering, wearable, tracking, remote monitoring, healthcare, telematics, mobile POS terminals, bike sharing, smart farming, etc …
Connectivity
HERACLES 224G embeds a prepaid 50MB data package from 1nce thanks to an embedded sim. The package can be used over 5 years starting from the production date and includes the connectivity over 173 in Europe (including UK), Asia, North America, South America, Africa and Oceania. The connectivity can be extended up to 500MB for 10 years.
