Skill up on future-proof Bluetooth solutions for industrial applications

Future proofing your industrial applications brings a whole host of challenges and requirements; from the need for more distributed computing power, to increased levels of communication and connectivity. This has to be combined with the lowest power consumption and the advanced levels of security against recently increasing cyber attacks. Some of the required features seem to be contradictory, but we will show the right solution.

In this webinar, Robin M. Saltnes, Product Marketing Engineer at Nordic Semiconductor will introduce you to Nordic’s nRF5340, a comprehensive SoC delivering multi-protocol wireless connectivity, that ensures both high computing performance and excellent power efficiency. Combining all of this with advanced security features against cyber attacks is representing a perfect solution for future proven industrial applications.

He will be joined by Nick Wood, Sales and Marketing Director at Insight SIP, the specialist in miniature SIP modules (8x8x1mm). Based on this leading edge SoC, Insight SIP has built the ISP2053 adding not only antennas, but also all other required components like crystals, DC-DC converters and more.

Finally, Walter Puhl, Technology Specialist Wireless Demand Creation EMEA from Avnet Silica will highlight industrial application use cases. These will feature mesh networking for industrial lighting, sensors and simultaneous locators for RTLS (Real Time Location Service) ideal for indoor asset tracking on production floors or logistics.
