Renesas ISL82xxM - Switching Power Modules
With an integrated controller, power inductor and MOSFETs, the ISL82xxM power modules are optimized for space-constrained and battery-operated applications.
These single-channel, synchronous step-down power modules are capable of delivering 10A or 15A of continuous current. They utilize Renesas’ proprietary R4TM control technology with inherent feed-forward that provides best-in-class fast load and input voltage transient response. The output voltage is fully stable with all-ceramic capacitance while excellent loop stability with internal compensation simplifies design. The ISL82xxM modules only require a few external components to operate with its pin strapping configuration technology, thus providing a very high power density solution. Renesas’ GHDA technology is a significantly thermally superior structure which allows true use of full output current capability.

Renesas ISL81601 - Buck-Boost Controller
The ISL81601 is a true bidirectional 4-switch synchronous buck-boost controller for efficient DC-DC power conversion with peak and average current sensing and monitoring at both ends.
It provides cycle-by-cycle current limit in both directions while in buck or boost mode, and generates point-of-load (POL) and voltage rail conversions with peak efficiency up to 99%.

Renesas ISL9241 Buck-Boost Configurable Battery Charger
The ISL9241 is a digitally configurable buck-boost battery charger that can support both Narrow Voltage Direct Charging (NVDC) and Hybrid Power Buck Boost (HPBB/Bypass) charging.
The ISL9241 can switch between the modes using firmware control. Bypass mode is also supported using a controller’s firmware, allowing the adapter to provide power directly to the system. The ISL9241 provides the charging function, system bus regulation, and protection features using only NFETs for tablet, ultrabook, and notebook platforms.

ISL94202
Stand-alone Battery Protection System Accurately Monitors and Balances Rechargeable Battery Packs
The ISL94202 battery pack monitor enables ultra-small two-terminal designs, and accurately monitors, protects, and cell balances rechargeable battery packs to ensure safe operation and charging. The device supports Li-ion and other battery chemistries used in applications such as vacuum cleaners, lawn equipment, handheld power tools, e-bikes, scooters, toys, and energy storage systems.
